A clear, easy address for your website
Every Suddn website lives at its own address, like birchandryebakery.suddn.page, on every plan. Connecting a domain you already own (Pro) and buying one inside Suddn (Pro and up) are coming soon.
How your address is made
Suddn turns your business name into your address, with no hyphens: “Birch & Rye Bakery” becomes birchandryebakery.suddn.page.
If the name is taken, you're offered readable alternatives first: your name with your city, “the” in front, or “co” at the end. A number is added only when those are all taken.
Changing it later
You can change your address in Settings once every 30 days, and add hyphens if you like (birch-and-rye-bakery). The old address keeps working and sends visitors to the new one, so links and printed QR codes stay good.
Brand names, look-alikes of them and a few words Suddn keeps for itself can't be used.
Your own domain (Coming soon)
On Pro, you'll be able to connect a domain you already own, like birchandryebakery.ca, and buying a domain inside Suddn is planned for Pro and up. Neither is built yet.
Example address. Availability is checked when you connect or buy a domain.
What's not built yet
Connecting your own domain and buying a domain aren't available yet, and there's no date. Until then, every website uses its suddn.page address.
Questions
Can I use my own domain with Suddn?
Not yet. Connecting a domain you already own is coming soon on Pro. Until then, your website uses its suddn.page address.
Is the suddn.page address free?
Yes. Every plan, Free included, gets a yourname.suddn.page address with the padlock (SSL).
What happens to my old address if I change it?
It keeps working. Visitors who use it are sent to your new address, so old links and printed QR codes still work.
Can I add hyphens to my address?
Yes. The address starts with no hyphens because that's easier to say and type, and you can add them when you change your address in Settings.
