Contractor websites, live in under a minute

Suddn gives your contracting business a website with your services and from-prices, a projects gallery, your name, the area you work in and a quote form, live at yourname.suddn.page in under a minute. A one-page website is free. Pro adds a multi-page website and every quote request for $16.67 a month billed yearly ($199.99), or $19.99 monthly, available at launch.

3 themes for contractors

Every theme is free, with palettes or your own colour. Open an example to try it on a phone.

A Suddn template.

Your work gets talked about. Then people look you up.

Most of your jobs come from word of mouth. A neighbour sees the new deck, asks who built it, and the first thing they do with your name is search for it. If they find nothing, or an old post with three blurry photos, they call the next name on the list.

Before anyone calls a contractor they want three answers: have you done this kind of job, roughly what does it cost, and do you work where they live. Photos of finished projects, a from-price and a list of towns answer all three before the phone rings.

You're on a roof or in a basement all day. You don't have a weekend to spend in a website builder, and hiring a designer turns your website into one more project to manage.

The job, the price range and the person

People hire a contractor, not a company logo. The About section shows your name, your title and how many years you've been at it, and the Projects gallery shows the kitchens, decks and roofs you've finished, each with a caption like “Cedar deck, two levels, Lakeshore Road”.

From-prices set expectations without locking you in. “From $18,000” tells a homeowner whether to call you, and you still quote every job properly.

Painters, roofers and other single-trade businesses use the same website: group your services (Interior, Exterior), and post before-and-after photos as pairs with captions like “Before: 1970s panelling” and “After: two coats, Pale Oak”.

Quote requests in one place

The quote form asks for a name, a phone number or email, and what they need. Requests land in the Inbox in your dashboard, which works on your phone. On Free you see the newest 3; on Pro you see every request.

Questions from contractor owners

Can customers send me photos of the job through my website?

No. The quote form has three fields: their name, a phone number or email, and a box for what they need. When you reply, ask them to text or email you photos.

How many quote requests can I see on the free plan?

The newest 3. On Pro you see every request, with no limit. Paid plans are available at launch.

Do I have to put prices on my website?

No. Each service can have a price, a from-price, a range (from X to Y) or no price at all. A from-price on your bigger jobs helps people decide to call.

Can I list the towns I work in?

Yes. The Where we work section shows your service area, written your way, like “Northfield, Elm Grove and 40 km around”. It sits beside your availability line.

I do roofing in summer and renovations in winter. Can I change my services?

Yes, any time, from your phone. Every change is live on your website the moment you save it.

Do I need to show opening hours?

No. Hours are off by default for contractors. An availability line like “Evenings and weekends by appointment” takes their place, and you can turn hours on in Design if you keep a shop.

Can my crew be on the website?

Yes, with Pro. The Team section shows each person's name, role and an optional photo.
