A QR code that opens your website

Every Suddn website comes with a QR code, on every plan. One scan opens your website, so a customer at a table, at your window or holding a flyer sees your menu or services, your hours and your phone number.

How it works

  1. Open QR codes

It's in your dashboard, on a phone or a computer.

  2. Pick the text and the layout

One large card or six small ones, and the line under the code.

  3. Print or download

Print the cards now, or download the SVG or PNG.

What the code opens

Your website's address, nothing else. Scanning it opens your website on the customer's phone. When you update your website, the same code shows the new version, so you don't reprint for a new price or new hours.

If you change your address, the old one forwards to the new one, so printed codes keep working. If your website isn't live, people who scan see “Website coming soon”. If you delete your website, its codes stop working.

Where to put it

Table cards in a restaurant or café, so guests can read the menu on their own phone. A card in the window or on the counter, for people passing by after hours. Flyers, business cards, invoices and the side of a work van.

For a window sticker or a banner, send the SVG file to a print shop. Put the code at a height people can reach with a phone, and keep it big enough to scan from where they stand.

What it doesn't do

The code is always black on white, with no colours or logo inside it. That keeps it easy to scan.

It opens your website, not a menu PDF or a single item. By default, a restaurant's menu comes right after the top of its website.

Suddn doesn't count scans on their own. Someone who scans is a visit like any other.

Questions

Do QR codes cost extra?

No. They're included on every plan, Free too.

Will my QR code still work after I change my website?

Yes. The code holds your website address, so every change you save shows up when someone scans it. If you change the address, the old one forwards to the new one.

Which file should I send to a print shop?

The SVG. It stays sharp at any size. The PNG is 2048 pixels, which suits flyers and social posts.

Can I print QR codes for every table?

Yes. Choose six small cards per sheet, print as many sheets as you need, and cut along the dashed lines.

What happens if someone scans it before my website is live?

They see “Website coming soon”. Once you publish, the same code opens your website, so you can print cards before you go live.
