Suddn gives your bakery a website with your breads and pastries and their prices, your hours, photos and a notice line you change from your phone when something sells out. A one-page website is free; Pro, available at launch, costs $16.67 a month billed yearly ($199.99) or $19.99 monthly and adds a multi-page website.
Every theme is free, with palettes or your own colour. Open an example to try it on a phone.

You open at seven and by eleven the croissants are gone. The phone rings all afternoon with people asking if there's any sourdough left, and on Saturday someone drives across town for a cinnamon bun that sold out an hour ago.
Pre-orders come in from everywhere: phone calls, texts, Instagram messages, a note on the back of a receipt. Birthday cakes, holiday trays and a dozen bagels for Sunday, all with different lead times nobody remembers.
Your website should say what you bake and on which days, how far ahead to order a cake, and whether there's anything left today. Suddn gives you a notice line at the top that you change from your phone in a few seconds, flour on your hands or not.
Birch & Rye Bakery is an example bakery menu. The days and lead times go in the line under each item. To see whole bakery websites, look at the bakery templates on this page.
Example content
The notice line sits at the very top of your website. Change it from your phone behind the counter ("Croissants sold out, sourdough still in") and it's live the moment you save. Clear it in the morning. For something gone for the season, hide the item: it leaves your website and stays on your list.
Open now follows the hours you enter, not your shelves. If you close early when everything's gone, the notice line is how people find out before they make the trip.
Put the lead time right in the item ("order 48 hours ahead") and in your Questions section. The Call button is on every website, and the Message button lets people text you their cake order. Only turn it on if your number can receive texts.
Taking pre-orders and payments on your website is Coming soon, part of Business. Until then, Suddn never takes an order or a payment: people call or text you, and you confirm.
Not with a sold-out label. You can hide an item so it leaves your website and stays on your list for when it's back, or use the notice line at the top ("Rye sold out for today"), which you change from your phone in seconds and clear the next morning.
Not on the website yet. Customers call or text you with the Call and Message buttons; taking orders and payments on your website is Coming soon, part of Business.
In the line under each item and in your Questions section. Suddn shows exactly what you write and doesn't check it, so keep it up to date when a recipe changes.
Write the day in the item's line ("Saturdays only") or use groups such as Every day and Weekends. The notice line can point to today's special bake.
Your usual opening and closing time. Each day has one opening, and Open now follows it, so on days you close early, say so in the notice line.
